Over one semester, my team developed a full PR campaign plan for our local library, working directly with library leadership to understand their challenges and goals. Our deliverables included audience research, media strategy, tactical communications, a year-long master calendar, budget overview, and an evaluation framework with measurable metrics. We concluded the semester by presenting our recommendations to the client in a formal pitch, proposing strategies they could realistically implement.

For my Fashion, Beauty & Lifestyle course, I produced a case study analyzing the 2022 Balenciaga campaign controversy. This paper examined how the brand's PR team navigated crisis communications, the strategic decisions they made under public pressure, and the lasting impact on their brand relationships and reputation.

Public Relations Writing - Public Relations Strategy

For this project, I developed a full PR strategy for the Bloomington Animal Shelter with the goal of increasing adoption rates. I met directly with the shelter director to identify key challenges and opportunities, then built a comprehensive strategy that included a persuasion platform, press release, email pitch outlines, and social media improvement recommendations. Each element was also accompanied by a written component. I concluded the project by presenting my recommendations to the shelter director in a formal client pitch.

PR Planning & Research - Comprehensive Report

For my PR Planning and Research course, my team developed a comprehensive PR report for InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) and their One Rewards loyalty program. We researched how to rebuild customer trust following a recent crisis, outlining how to strengthen IHG’s competitive positioning against other brands. We compiled a report of industry trends, a research survey involving a focus group framework, a full PR strategy with influencer partnerships, social media campaigns, airline collaborations, and member engagement initiatives. We also proposed measurable KPIs and a campaign timeline to track program growth and audience reach.
